Discomfort: Doterra Essential oils come to the rescue. 🌱🌱🌱

Updated: Jun 28, 2023

My story that led me to Doterra

Several years ago I was diagnosed with a viral infection in my chest wall, which hardened all of the cartilage in my chest. I feel like I am being stabbed with knives on a daily basis. The winter months are the worst since we have a tendency to curl up into ourselves so every time I stretch out it is somewhat debilitating. After many ER visits over 2 years and no answers my Dr finally figured it out. ( PS. I feel blessed it could have settled in my heart and killed me). The solution was Advil, pain patches (that cost a fortune). Then ultimately strong antacids to heal the damage the Advil did to my gut.

Turning Point

One morning I woke up in tears and told my husband I have to find a solution. So I started researching and asking everyone. A friend offered me a small sample of deep blue oil. I put it straight on my chest and within seconds I felt relief. Not easy to convince I thought it had to be in my head. I continued to find relief with consistency.

Soon I was asking if there was an oil to help me to get off of these antacids. Did you know you should not take them for more than 14 days in a row? I had been on them 2 years when I found out this info. My friend offered Digestzen and i put a drop in my water. Guess what! YEP! Relief and after 2 weeks I was taking a softgel every night instead of a 150.00 a month med. I still do every night. As they say the rest is history but I would love you to read this to learn why I chose Doterra as my oil business partner. I researched them all. http://livingnaturallyessentially.com/i-can-get-essential-oils-everywhere-paris-why-doterra/

Lets find you some relief.

My goal is to help you find solutions to find relief from your discomfort. What I want to be sure you understand that with Essential oils consistency is key. You have to develop a routine and stick with it. When you start feeling relief this becomes easier. Also not every oil works for every person but just because one oil does not doesn’t mean we can’t find a combo that will help you. There is a natural solution for everyone and we will find it for you.

Oils to use internally

So many people I know are taking OTC remedies several times a day to help with pain management. Finding a natural alternative is what I want to do for you. Internal use of these oils needs to be explained. I ONLY recommend internal use of Doterra Essential oils. I can not speak to any other oils as I am not educated in them however you will need to read the whole bottle to be sure internal use is an option. Doterra’s Oils will have a nutrition label on the side if they are consumable. Our oils are pure so less is more.

Internal oils for discomfort

  1. All discomfort : Copaiba, Helichrysum, Peppermint, Pink Pepper

  2. Joint Discomfort: Tumeric, Pink Pepper, Siberian fir

  3. Head: Copaiba, Siberian fir

  4. Sinus: Basil, Peppermint, Rosemary

  5. Menstrual: Clary Sage, Marjoram, Copaiba

How to make a gel cap

Add one or 2 drops of each oil you choose up to 6 top with olive oil to close gel cap I recommend you take immediately. But you can make them ahead of time no more than a day or 2 because of the purity of the oils the gel caps don’t hold up with making ahead. 2 to 4 times a day.

Topical Application

I always recommend using a carrier oil with all oils applied to the skin. Not only does it dilute these pure oils but it carries them deeper to the area of discomfort. A couple drops of oil in a few drops of Fractionated coconut oil or other carrier.

  1. All discomfort: Deep Blue Oil, Deep Blue rub, Aromatouch, Marjoram, Lemongrass,

  2. Back: Copaiba, Frankincense, Siberian Fir, Wintergreen, Helichrysum

  3. Growing: Cypress, Marjoram, Aromatouch, Deep blue, Rescuer (kids collection) Siberian Fir

  4. Muscles: Deep Blue, Aromatouch, Peppermint, Lemongrass, Siberian Fir

  5. Joint: Turmeric, Pink Pepper, Aromatouch, Siberian Fir, Wintergreen, Deep Blue

  6. Teeth: Clove, Helichrysum, Myrrh, On Guard

  7. Menstrual: Clary Sage, Clary Calm, Past Tense, Copaiba ,Marjoram

  8. Head: Past Tense, Peppermint, Frankincense, Copaiba

As you can see there are many ways to treat discomfort in natural ways. Don’t let this intimidate you. I am here to help you navigate all the choices.
