#9 Eat Your Fruit but within Limits

Our Mantra this week is: I treat my body like the temple it is.ย 

How many of you eat fruit?ย  Do you weigh or measure it?ย ย 

If they are so good for us, why do we need to limit them? Realistically eating fruit is great for weight loss and a healthy lifestyle.
I put this in there because I knew people who were eating whole watermelons, bags of grapes or cherries ย and 10 clementine’s.ย  It is unlikely that you are one of those people but I wanted to be clear that we should be aware.
We know that all calories count. ย A medium banana is 115 calories. ย That matters of you are eating several.
If you are trying to lose weight. ย The question you should ask yourself is are you losing the weight you want?
If not and you feel like you are staying on your plan but eating a lot of fruit, take a look start portion controlling your fruit.

Eating fruit provides health benefits. … Eating foods such as fruits that are lower in calories instead of higher-calorie food may be useful in helping to lower calorie intake. Fruits provide nutrients vital for health and maintenance of your body, such as fiber, vitamin C, potassium, and folate.
