What an amazing week.  

Thank you all for the participation, active listening and overall pure joy.  It was everything I hoped for and I hope you all enjoyed it as much as Sally, Marlene and I did.  As always your input is always welcome.  


We are starting all of our support groups with time to chat and catch up.  They open 15 minutes before start time and are a time to chat with one another about anything.   Then a moment of centering and clarity and of course our weekly mantra that will be focused on our discussion starter.  This week: “You can do anything, but you can not do everything”

12 Months to a Healthy Lifestyle

Some resolutions people have made in the past:

  • Lose weight~ Get healthy~ exercise more
  • Save Money~ Travel
  • Get organized in all areas of our lives
  • Stop Drinking~ Smoking


Studies show 10% of  Americans do not  keep their New Years Resolutions past the 14th of January.  We figured out that is for several reasons:

  • too big
  • unrealistic
  • don’t care enough about them
  • too many all at one time.

When our expectations are not overnight we give up and stop trying.  With our 12 months to a healthy lifestyle we want to make a list of 12 things you want to change, do better, or add.  Once we have the list.   In our journal we will write each month January – December leaving 10 lines between each and add one of the 12 things that you will work on that month.  Be realistic with your months EX:  you want to up your variety in  fruits and veggies This will be easier in May to September than it is in January to April.  Once we have what we will do each month we are going to write what we need to do to make this a habit starting small and adding more as the month proceeds.  So if your goal is to be more active you might say I am going to walk each day.  Then week one I will walk during my lunch for 10 minutes week 2 I will walk 10 minutes at lunch and 10 minutes as soon as i am done with work.  By the end of the month you will have formed a habit of 30 to 45 minutes of activity and you will take that habit to your next month and next habit.  At the end of 2021 you will have 12 new healthy habits! 



Lots of celebrating the New Year.  Here’s a few things we heard:

  • Drank Less
  • Walked More
  • Planned better
  • recognized when we were full
  • Stepped outside some comfort zones
  • Started Keto
  • Started Lose it

My Favorite part of the week was seeing your beautiful faces and seeing you all help one another offer advice and encouragement! I can not wait to see you all next week!  Be sure to visit if you have not already joined a support group.
