When I lost my weight I remember thinking I could do it on my own and didn’t need any help. But I was never successful when the only person I had to answer to was me. I can come up with excuses as to why it was not working and talk myself into starting tomorrow. Does this sound like you?
I found group meetings worked really well for me. I felt like I was accountable to someone else and it felt good to be part of a community that all wanted the best for one another as well as understood when I felt like a had “failed”. I loved the support and loved seeing others succeed knowing if they could I could too! Would you like this?
I also found that having a coach I could discuss my weekly/monthly goals with and have their support. Maybe even ask me questions I had not thought of about what be holding me back, what my strengths are and how to use them in my daily life. Knowing that 30 or 60 minutes I would be heard, cared for, and challenged helped me through both my weight loss and 20 year maintenance. Do you need that one on one coaching?
We do not have a specific “diet plan” and therefore can support you in what ever healthy eating plan you choose to do. Our focus is on portion control , lowering saturated fat and sugar. Learning how to be nutritionally sound. While working on your mindset, overall self care, and activity. We are not just about “dieting” we want to help you in all areas of your life to make it easier and more fun. Maybe even have more time for you and your passions.
